Blast of winter weather expected to start Sun.

Snow and bitterly cold temperatures are expected to move into Cowley County, beginning Sunday, according to the National Weather Service and local emergency management officials.

At the moment, forecasts are calling for one to three inches of snowfall for this area.

By Tuesday temperatures are expected to fall to a low of 21 during the day and into single digits after dark. Wind chill temperatures could fall below zero at times.
