A 24-year-old Winfield died Tuesday of injuries he suffered in a dirt-bike accident in mid May, his family said.
Jason Sutton landed on his head following an accident at the Kansas Badlands Off-Road Park near South Haven May 16. He was wearing a helmet but still was critically injured.
His family announced that their son had died through the Web site CaringBridge.
Sutton was a long-time Winfield resident and lived here with his wife, Cheryl, and three children, Kaitlynn, 9, Jaden, 3, and Braden, 1. He is a son of the late Gordon Sutton, who maybe familiar to some as a long-time employee of Winfield High School.
