You can vote now on little Mr., Miss Arkalalah

Candidates for Little Miss & Mister Arkalalah 2009 have been announced.? Votes are one cent each and may be deposited in containers distributed in local businesses. The voting deadline is 4 p.m., Oct. 23 when all containers will be picked up.

The candidates, their parents and places of business where their cans will be located are as follows:

Little Miss & Mister Arkalalah, runners-up and all other contestants receive prizes donated by the Ark City Youth Football Association and area merchants at the crowning ceremony at 2 p.m. Oct. 30.

Prizes will be on display in the window of Brown’s Office Supply.?

All children ride the float in the children’s parade as well as the big parade. The event is sponsored by the Ark City Youth Football Association.?

Proceeds will benefit the Ark City Youth Football Association to help purchase new uniforms and equipment.?
