Chambers suspect expected back in court Fri.

First-degree murder suspect David Webster will be back in a Cowley County courtroom Friday as his trial in the death of Diane Chambers draws near.

A hearing in the case is set for 10 a.m. so that Judge Nick St. Peter can consider a motion for change of venue and other evidentiary motions. Barring a plea agreement in the case, a jury trial is set to begin Nov. 10.

Webster is accused of killing Chambers at her home in Winfield and dumping her body off a bridge east of Winfield on or around March 30.
