The City-Cowley County Health Department anticipates giving H1N1 vaccinations to pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade students in Ark City next Thursday and Friday.
The clinics are strictly voluntary and only students with signed consent forms will be given the free vaccination. Vaccination will begin next week in Winfield as well.
Parents who have not returned the consent form but would like their child to receive the vaccine should return the form to the school prior to November 12.
It is likely that there will be second clinic for students in seventh through twelfth grades when the health department receives more vaccines.
