Ark City police Thursday arrested a local man they say was drinking and driving and in possession of pot and methamphetamine.
Lances Miles Milliron, 49, Ark City, was pulled over by an officer who observed the suspect pulling into the driveway at Kuhn Mechanical, a local business. Police are monitoring the area because some businesses have been the target of criminal damage and burglary, according to Chief Sean Wallace.
Police suspected the man was drinking and a report indicates Milliron refused a preliminary breath test.
Officers found pot in the suspect’s vehicle and later found Milliron to be in possession of meth.
He faces possession charges, a charge of refusing a breath test and DUI. Bond was set at $9,300.
