Cowley will host community enrollment event

Cowley College will host a community enrollment day this month that offers a chance for those interested in taking college classes to gather some information.

The come-and-go event is set for 8 a.m to 6 p.m. June 15 in the admissions office at Galle-Johnson Hall. Those interested can enroll in fall courses at the event.

Information about classes and funding ? you can find out if you’re eligible to receive up to $5,500 in government grant money ? will be available.

Members of Cowley College’s admissions department, financial aid, scholarships, student life, campus housing, and more will be on hand to answer questions.

If you have taken the ACT within the last three years, bring your scores along. If not, there may be assessment tests to take if you plan to enroll on the day of the event.

If you have taken courses at another college, please bring along a copy of your college transcript as we may need it for prerequisites.

Along with the day’s activities, KSOK Radio 95.9 FM will be conducting an on-site remote on the day of the event.

Cowley College has a variety of classes available. Students can choose from on-campus, hybrid (blend of on-campus and online), and fully online courses. For more information or to enroll, call 620-441-5303.
