A CrimeStoppers tip led to a pot bust in Winfield on Thursday.
An investigation after police received a tip about suspicious activity at 417 W. 11th. A warrant was executed and police say they found some weed and paraphernalia.
Michael J. Cates, 23, and Shelly R. Wilson, 21, were arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. They were booked into the Cowley County Jail.
The Winfield Police Department would also like to remind the public that they are encouraged to report any illegal drug activity or suspicious activity by calling the Winfield Police Department at (620)221-5555.
