Felon’s wife nabbed after new search of home

Three people were arrested over the weekend after Winfield police searched a local home for drugs.

On Friday, several area agencies searched a home at 914 E. Sixth. Authorities found what is believed to be meth in the home along with items associated with illegal drug sales.

The home was searched after police received tips about suspicious activity at the residence.

Among those arrested were Amy Hartung, 30, of Winfield. She is the wife of Cole Hartung, a convicted felon who was arrested after another search of the same home in mid July.

Amy Hartung faces charges for possession of meth with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription medication.

Also facing charges are:

Freddie Lodwick, 19, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within a 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug sale paraphernalia, possession drug use paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of prescription medication.

Austin Andes, 26, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug use paraphernalia.
