A 34-year-old man was arrested Christmas Day after an ex-girlfriend reported that the man entered her Winfield home and forcibly took cash.
Dustin Bennett is accused of entering a residence in the 500 block of E. 10th. He was identified as a suspect and arrested a short time later. The cash was recovered.
Bennett faces theft and robbery related charges.
Police responded to the home just after 11 p.m. when a woman called to say her ex-boyfriend had entered her home and demanded money.
