Livestock group to host meeting, dinner Feb 9

The Cowley County Livestock Association will host its annual meeting next month in Winfield.

Motivator and educational speaker Trent Loos – of Loup City, Neb. – will be the event’s special guest. The dinner portion of the meeting is set for 6 p.m., Feb. 9 at the high school.

The program begins at 7 p.m.

Loos travels the country speaking to audiences on issues related to animal agriculture and food production. A key part of his message is the importance of bridging the gap between producers and consumers.

Tickets are $25 per person and $15 for youths age 10 to 18. Those under 10 are free.
