A new blast of winter weather is expected to hit Cowley County and the surrounding area by early Tuesday.
A winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. Tuesday through noon on Wednesday. Snow accumulation between three and six inches is expected.
The winter storm will have some wind associated with it but not as much as last week’s storm.
Light freezing drizzle is expected early Tuesday morning and that is expected to change to snow by the afternoon.
Colder temperatures should last through the week, with warmer weather forecasted for the weekend.
