Two Oklahomans killed in Sumner Co. wreck

Two people from Oklahoma were killed in Sumner County Wednesday afternoon when a Toyoto Pickup and a Semi collided on K-42.

The next of kin have not yet been reached so the names of those killed have not been released by the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Both victims were in the pickup. The driver of the semi was not injured.

The accident occurred about 3 p.m. on the two-lane highway, two miles east of Suppesville, according to KHP Trooper Nick Carter.
