A 17-year-old Arkansas City boy was taken into custody and then released to his parents in connection with the aggravated battery and aggravated criminal sodomy of his 10-year-old step-brother at his Ark City residence.
Police Chief Sean Wallace said the younger boy reported the incident Monday.
He was taken into police protective custody and is currently being placed outside the home by the Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services.
It’s unclear whether the the two boys lived in the same home.
