(Editor’s note: Winfield Police have informed us that Lisa Drouhard died Sunday. An investigation into her death is being conducted to determine a cause. An autopsy will be part of that investigation.
Her death is not related to the accident on 19th.)
A Winfield woman was arrested for driving under the influence Saturday after driving her vehicle into a fire hydrant. The accident caused some minor flooding and slowed traffic.
No one was injured in the crash, which happened just before 1 p.m in the 200 block of E. 19th. Lisa L. Drouhard faces a DUI charge in connection with the incident.
Water service in the immediate area was shut down for a short time as city crews repaired the hydrant.
