Coke, pot – and evidence of prescription pill sales – were found during a drug bust at a home in Winfield Friday afternoon, local police said.
At 1 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at apartment 1 at 1508 Mansfield St. It’s the latest in a number of drug-related searches police have conducted in recent weeks.
In addition to the cocaine and pot reportedly found, police also uncovered some paraphernalia and evidence that pills were being sold illegally.
The investigation and subsequent search were brought on by tips to police from neighbors.
Two people were arrested, they are:
Carmen Bryant, 49, Winfield, was arrested and booked into the Cowley County Jail on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug use paraphernalia, possession of drug sale paraphernalia, and unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
Lonelle T. Foster, 51, Winfield, was arrested and booked into the Cowley County Jail on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug sale paraphernalia and possession of drug use paraphernalia.
